Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers in winning their record sixth Super Bowl title, 27-23. Trailing 10-7, the Cardinals had a chance to take the lead (or at least tie the game) right before the half, but James Harrison's 100-yard interception return for a touchdown gave the Steelers a 17-7 lead at the half. The Cardinal defense held the Steelers on consecutive goal-line stands (after a roughing penalty on 4th down gave the Steelers a first down at the 1) and held the Steelers to a field-goal, making it 20-7. That stand allowed the Cards to come back thanks to a circus catch by Larry Fitzgerald, making it 20-14 and then a safety cut the lead to 20-16. Fitzgerald finaly broke a big play in the fourth quarter to give the Cardinals a 23-20 lead before the Steeler offense made an outstanding drive to win the game.

I have steadfastly avoided NBC's Football Night in America for one reason: Keith Overbite. I had to watch this past Sunday because my Carolina Panthers were playing against the New York Giants. Having watched for the first time, I can say this. Keith is not the only reason to avoid this show. It's dull. It's bad. It's three pencil-necked geeks and a midget commenting on football.

NBC has re-posted the video of their hilarious SNL skit, with one obvious and another pathetic, political edit job. The first I heard was that they had removed the caption which appeared below the names of the Herbert and Marion Sandler, a real life couple...
NBC Nightly News aired a BBC report from July which, believe it or not, actually questions the validity of John McCain's claim that he was tortured by the North Vietnamese for five years in the infamous "Hanoi Hiton". They go back to Hanoi...
You gotta admit, it took major cajones for John McCain to go on the Ellen Degenerate show today. He had to know what he was getting into, what with the California Supreme Court ruling this week that paves the way for gay "marriage" in that state...
With Memorial Day approaching, I took the time to watch the footage from Pat Dollard's Iraq War documentary " Young Americans ". Forget the so-called reality TV that the mainstream media networks are peddling, YA is all that and a bag of...
No, not Howard Dean (although I suspect that he and his ilk are destined to end up there). I'm talking about Dean Winchester. Yes, I admit it. I'm a Supernatural junkie. You see, Dean and his brother Sam are "hunters". They track down...
