The One Cites Japan's "Lost Decade" to Justify Massive Porkulus
In yesterday's almost unbearable White House presser, in answer to the first question prom the press, the Most Merciful Lord High Barack Hussein Obama cited the so-called "lost decade" of the 1990's in Japan as justification for why...
House Passes Economic Porkulus Bill
Well, as expected, the Pelosi-Reid-Obama Debt Plan passed the House of Representatives in a 244-188 vote . The good news, however, is that the Republicans in the House finally grew a pair and unanimously voted in opposition to this bill. Thank you John...
Hard to Believe this is from the NY Times

"The stimulus bill working its way through Congress is not just a package of spending increases and tax cuts intended to jolt the nation out of recession. For Democrats, it is also a tool for rewriting the social contract with the poor, the uninsured and the unemployed, in ways they have long yearned to do."

Whoa!!

The Only Thing This Liberal Plan Will Stimulate is...Liberals
What the President calls a "stimulus plan" is nothing more than a ruse for Democraps to fund all the liberal, socialist ideas that they know would never get funded if the public knew anything about it. The Obamassiah has asked the GOP to keep...
If I Cheat on My Taxes, Can I Be Treasury Secretary?

The US Senate has decided that tax evasion is not such a bad thing after all, as long as you're a liberal Democrap who has been nominated to serve as a cabinet secretary.  In  60-34 vote, the Senate said Timothy Geithner's tax evasion qualifies him to oversee the Treasury Department (and, consequently, the IRS).  I guess they figured that his violation of the law makes him qualified.  He is better equipped to uphold the law specifically because he has broken the law.  Makes sense, doesn't it?

Wait, I thought the Bailout Fixed All This
The Dow was dropping last Monday when the House rejected the $700-billion bailout. Everyone in the media blamed the drop on the failure of the bill to pass, but it was already falling when the votes were cast. The next day, stocks went up. How can that...
